Our Story

We had a dream when we came back to Texas from our honeymoon abroad to open a bed and breakfast, but were much too inexperienced and poor to make it happen at that time. Fast forward 20+ years, and we have made that dream a reality! We considered many places to start our new chapter, but decided on Ecuador due to the welcoming people, the ease of relocation, and the natural beauty of the country. We had never lived at the beach, so decided to create our own oasis on the outskirts of Salinas.

DebraJo (DJ) was raised in New England, but moved to Texas for college and stayed. Ricardo was born in Argentina, and lived in South America until his family relocated to the United States when he was 12. We love to entertain, travel, cook, and be outdoors.
